Kal Tire Place

Cancellation Request Form
- All events require insurance.
- Insurance can be purchased through an insurance company of your choice OR the Facility Booking Clerk can provide a link to an insurance provider.
- Please do not purchase insurance until a contract has been issued by a Facility Booking Clerk (Insurance policies are non-refundable).
- A copy of the certificate of insurance must be emailed to bookings@vernon.ca, a minimum 14 days prior to the event.
Indoor and Outdoor Events within the City of Vernon: The event organizer must provide $2 million dollars in comprehensive general liability insurance listing the City of Vernon (address listed below) as additional insured. The City of Vernon reserves the right to require $5 million dollars in general liability insurance, depending on the scale of the event. It is the responsibility of the event organizer to ensure that all vendors carry appropriate insurance.
Outdoor Events at parks and facilities that are at other surrounding locations but the bookings are managed by the City of Vernon - the event organizer must provide $2 million dollars in comprehensive general liability insurance listing the City of Vernon, District of Coldstream and Regional District of the North Okanagan as additional insured. The City of Vernon reserves the right to require $5 million dollars in general liability insurance, depending on the scale of the event. It is the responsibility of the event organizer to ensure that all vendors carry appropriate insurance.
If renting space at Greater Vernon Athletic Park (GVAP): four entities including The City of Vernon, The Regional District of North Okanagan, The District of Coldstream, and the Okanagan College must be listed as additional insured.
