Inclusive and Adaptive Recreation Programs
At Recreation Services, we’re proud to offer a wide range of inclusive programs designed to welcome all participants into shared recreational experiences.
Inclusive programs create opportunities for everyone to participate together, promoting a sense of community and belonging. Success in these programs relies on a shared commitment to inclusion from staff, families, and participants alike.
We also offer adaptive recreation programs, which are specially designed or modified to support specific needs. These modifications may include changes to equipment, rules, structure, support, or environment. Adaptive programs are clearly labeled with “Adaptive” in the program title.
Our staff and volunteers are trained to ensure all participants have a positive and supportive experience. To help us prepare and provide the best environment possible, please let us know during registration if your child uses assistive devices, has specific needs, or benefits from key words or supports.
